This is a premium service that the big box companies cannot compete with. We manage everything from blue-tag certified grass seed, to customized water scheduling with Wi-Fi connectivity that allows us to monitor and adjust your water from our location, to daily water amounts, to cutting schedule, to bug and tick treatments, aeration, soil testing, plus so much more. This is truly a set it and forget it plan that will make your lawn stand out from everyone around you.
We can also upgrade your current irrigation system to a fully automated Wi-Fi-controlled timing system. All installs come with a free year of water monitoring.
Customized 8-step lawn fertilizer program:
Step 1: In late March, we apply a pre-emergent granular fertilizer, as well as a synthetic fertilizer, high in nitrogen.
Step 2: in early May, we apply a fertilizer that contains iron, as well as a granular product that will aid the lawn in avoiding lawn diseases, and a granular product that will prevent grubs.
Step 3: In late May, we apply a pre-emergent granular fertilizer, as well as a synthetic fertilizer, high in phosphorous, which really helps the roots thicken. Additionally, it’s got potassium which is the number one thing our lawns need to aid in heat stress recovery.
Step 4: in mid/late June, We apply a granular fertilizer that is loaded with potassium, for above mentioned benefits. Additionally, we apply a liquid insecticide that takes care of mosquitoes, ants, ticks, fleas, and approximately fifty other pests. This treatment is completely pet/child safe, once dried, which usually takes about an hour.
Step 5: in mid-July, we apply repeat step 4.
Step 6: In mid/late August, we apply a certified blue-tag grade Turf Type Tall Fescue seed, as well as Starter Fertilizer, and an organic fertilizer. After two weeks, we come back and apply another round of starter fertilizer.
Step 7: In mid-October, we apply a synthetic fertilizer loaded with nitrogen.
Step 8: In Early November, we complete our “winterizer!” Most people forget this step. The theory is, we apply the fertilizer right before the ground freezes (Thanksgiving), the lawn will not take in the fertilizer. It will stay dormant until mid/late March, As we grow closer to Spring, your lawn begins to take in this fertilizer, thereby having your lawn be the first on the block to green up!
